Rooftop Films is a non-profit organization whose mission is to engage and inspire diverse communities by showing movies in outdoor locations, producing new films, teaching filmmaking to young people, and renting low-cost equipment to artists and non-profits. At Rooftop Films, we bring underground movies outdoors
Gail Simmons of Top Chef to judge pie tasting contest!
* Kate Krader and Christina Grdovic of Food and Wine and Gail Simmons from Top Chef will be judging the final round of our pie contest. (NOTE: Pies must be registered by 10 AM to compete. BUT any and all pies will be welcome at social all day.)
*Hundreds of toys and books for sale. All profits will be donated by Fork & Pencil to our schools.
*New York Vendy Award winning Schnitzel and things will be parked out back during lunch hours. www.schnitzelandthings.com

The Schnitzel truck is coming!

We are pleased to announce the famous Schnitzel truck will be parked at PS29 during our Holiday fair and Pie Social. Spread the word, post on Facebook and email your friends. This is going to be a great event. Look for the list of films for the kids in the coming days.
On December 5th over 20 vendors will be selling toys and handmade items.

Local Brooklyn shops, Fork + Pencil and Half-Pint Citizens, will donate proceeds of their sales to our schools.
While you shop and eat delicious homemade pies your kids can enjoy a film festival sponsored by Rooftop Films.
